Joseph R. Gehan, CPA, Managing Partner, has been with the firm since 1998 and a partner since 2006. He specializes in individual, corporate, partnership and small business consulting and planning including business formation, taxation and record keeping.
Johanna L Jezek, CPA, Partner is an experienced accounting professional, working in the accounting field since 2000. She began her career with a national public accounting firm based in New York City before moving on to a local midsized firm. She has performed financial statement audits, reviews, compilations and tax compliance work for corporations, individuals, municipalities and non profit organizations. Johanna has been with Nowak & Gehan since 2017 and is a certified QuickBooks advisor.
Georgia Baker, EA, joined Nowak & Gehan in 2013 after spending nine successful years in the human resources sector and earning her undergraduate degree in Management with a concentration in Marketing. Among her areas of focus, she is responsible for managing the firm’s payroll and bookkeeping areas, which includes coaching and training administrative team members. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor (Online and Desktop) since 2014.
Victoria Carella has been with the firm since 2022. She graduated from St. John’s University with a BS in Information Technology and Business Administration. Victoria started her career working as an intern at Princeton University‘s Office of Information Technology. Upon taking her first accounting class, she became more interested in the business side of her degree. At Nowak & Gehan, Victoria provides technology troubleshooting for the office. She also assists with smaller accounting projects, compliance audits, and bookkeeping.
Patricia DeLuca is our Administrative Assistant and has been with our firm since January 2020. Patricia brings with her over 15 years of experience. After earning her AAS Degree from Kingsborough Community College, Patricia went on to work for Wall Street firms Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase and American Express. Now, Patricia divides her time between communicating with clients, maintaining files and providing administrative support to all members of our staff.

Raymond M. Nowak, CPA, PFS, CFP, has 11 years IRS experience. He specializes in individual tax planning & financial planning including Estate, Gift & Inheritance planning. He holds an insurance license and brokerage license, including a Series 7.
Mary E Nowak has been with the firm since 1981.
